"To me it's heartbreaking to think how much worse things would be for the children if there were no GALs. I thank God for the program. I do believe it is a life saver for the children in court proceedings. Also, I am so thankful for the many trainings I have had the opportunity to attend and the wealth of knowledge I have gained. They are powerful and very helpful. It is so encouraging to be able to ask any question I may have and get the correct answer. I will continue to FIGHT for our children and be their VOICE. Proud to be a GAL." —Rev. Rosetta E. Badgett
"While I’ve only been working with the Rockingham County GAL office for a short time, I have worked with many other social service agencies throughout my career. My experiences inform my high opinion of the Rockingham County GAL office and the two people who make it special, Amanda Benavides and Will Ore. Will trained me in the GAL program and supports me whenever I have questions about my cases. Amanda is responsive when I need help and is always pleasant to work with. The Rockingham County GAL office is doing an important work helping children. I am proud to be affiliated with this great program." —Linda Snow
